Bio-Aromatic Garden of Ourika was founded in 1998 by two specialist and passionate brothers :<br \/>\u2022 The <strong>Dr Jalil Belkamel<\/strong>, Phyto-Aromatherapist, specialist in essential oils<br \/>\u2022 The <strong>Dr AbdelFattah Belkamel<\/strong>, PhD in Pharmacy, specialist in essential oils<br \/>They therefore decided to transform a potato field into a garden, install a natural cosmetics production unit (Nectarome company), conduct trials for international scientific and botanical research on plants, and give the whole project an educational and awareness-raising dimension class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>About thirty kilometers south of Marrakech<\/strong>, The<strong>Ourika<\/strong> Ourika Valley marks the entrance to the <strong>Haut Atlas<\/strong>Predominantly inhabited by Berbers, it has managed to preserve a traditional way of life and remarkable natural surroundings.<\/p><p>It is here that was born, <strong>in 1997,<\/strong> the <strong>first<\/strong> Morocco\u2019s first Bio-Aromatic Garden. Visionary in nature, this project anticipated today\u2019s ecological and economic challenges at a very early stage, as a response to an increasingly industrialized world.<\/p><p><strong>Located at an altitude of 840 meters<\/strong>, this garden stands out for the richness of its botanical collection: around fifty aromatic, medicinal, and ornamental plants are cultivated there. Visitors are invited to discover them through their senses, to observe, smell, touch, and even taste them, while learning about their history, properties, and traditional
