A host will be there to provide all the explanations relating to these important cultural ceremonies.

Foot bath and massage

Alongside the self-guided or guided tour, visitors have the option to take part in a foot bath with bath salts Nectarome aromatisés à l’huile essentielle d’Oranger Amer (Bigaradier).

An herbal tea made from eight organic plants from the garden will be offered during this foot bath, for optimal relaxation and well-being.

The foot bath can be complemented by a relaxing foot massage performed with a massage oil Nectarome with argan oil and lemon verbena essential oil.

Henna

A Henna Workshop can also be organized for visitors.

During this workshop, explanations about henna and the Moroccan tradition of henna body art will be presented.

The henna preparation will be done in front of the visitors.

A traditional henna artist (nekkacha) will create designs on the hands, feet, or arms of visitors who wish to participate.

Bread

The Ourika Bio-Aromatic Garden offers its visitors the opportunity to discover a traditional craftsmanship of the region : bread making.

Two types of bread are prepared during this workshop :
• Made from barley mixed with nigella seeds
• Made from wheat mixed with anise seeds

During the workshop, each participant will be able to make their own bread. The specific use of these seeds in the preparation will be explained, along with the various local preparation techniques.

This workshop is followed by a bread tasting made with various local oils pressed in the garden (argan oil, sesame oil, olive oil), as well as the different local preparation techniques.

In this Gastronomy Workshop, we offer you a total immersion in the Moroccan gastronomy of the region. Learn to cook various couscous or tagine recipes from the local traditional culinary arts.

The tasting of the prepared dishes is planned at the end of the workshop.

We will also present the different extraction methods available today, the difference between roasted and unroasted oils, and the different possible uses of this extraordinary oil.
